Royal Roads is located on the grounds of Hatley Park National Historic site at the centre of which is the 100 year old Hatley Castle. The on-campus recreation centre offers an array of services and amenities including drop-in classes, squash courts, gymnasium, weight room, fitness studio, and cardio room. The Royal Roads Library has an extensive collection of databases, books, journals, DVDs, and other resources. Royal Roads is the future home of the Robert Bateman Centre, envisioned as an internationally regarded education centre for sustainability and, the new Learning and Innovation Centre with contemporary educational technology and learning facilities.
